We shall have two Members’ Meetings in April: an extraordinary meeting on 9 April and the regular meeting on 12 April.
Ian Strachan, a visitor from Australia, will present “Minerals of Broken Hill” to members and their guests at the usual venue and time (7.00 for 7.30 at the BGCA, 3 Lockhart Road) on Monday 9 April. Broken Hill in New South Wales, Australia, has fascinated mineralogists for over a century. It remains one of the greatest sources of silver, lead and zinc and has produced a treasure-house of exquisite mineral specimens. Please reserve the evening in your diary.
